Mike Dawson has worked in various aspects of the entertainment for over fifteen years. The North Carolina native entered the music industry in 2000 as an artist manager. His first client was ghost writer/rapper, Scram. In 2002, Dawson realized the opportunity for growth in the promotions industry. As Street Team Coordinator for the Midnight Mauraders, Dawson promoted some of the most successful events in Atlanta’s prime night-life scene. In 2004, he decided to return to management and signed R&B singer, Dain Harris. As Harris’ manager, he secured hia record deal at Purpose Records, sharing a roster with artists like Bilal, Algebra, Eric Roberson, and Anthony David. In 2007, Dawson turned his focus to show production and began partnering with the Atlanta promoters, Harmony In Life to produce more shows. Through this partnership, Dawson was introduced to Muddy Water founder, Richard Dunn who asked him to join the team as head of promotions.
